Sun-1200 24V 1200W Power Inverter

Soft Start 24V 1200 Watt Power Inverter. Modified sine wave output. Reduced noise on output, suitable for most electronic items.

Typical uses would be for TVs, DVD players, stereos, low wattage microwave ovens, lighting, low and medium wattage power tools etc.

This Sun-1200 Power Inverter has overload, over-voltage and under-voltage protection. If the voltage drops to 20v the inverter switches itself off . This is to protect the batteries from being completely flattened and potentially leaving you stranded.

If the batteries are charged by an engine (truck or boat), it helps to have the engine running when using a large load.

This is a modified sine wave inverter, which means it is fine for most applications. It is not suitable for capacitive loads (such as fluorescent lighting) for these you must use a Pure Sine Wave Inverter. It is also not suitable for some AC/DC fast chargers such as those used to charge cordless drills.

Inverters are temperature sensitive, in use they create heat and their capacity depends on their ability to dissipate this heat. Allow good ventilation. Operating ambient temperature 5 to 25 degrees Celsius. Above 20 degrees the power capacity drops off.

Please do not try and use this inverter with hair dryers or hair straighteners.
